Fishing with kids is honestly a lesson in patience. My line is tangled. I want a new lure. Why am I not catching anything? I lost my favorite colored lure! My hook is stuck in the tree! Yeah it might not sound like a perfect day, but there is nothing more perfect than seeing the excitement on your child’s face when they catch a fish. Heck who am I kidding? I get excited when any of us catch a fish. Yes, you need to demonstrate some patience to enjoy it, but it’s another inexpensive activity that your family can enjoy together.
